Courses Offered at Citadel Bible Institute
Citadel Bible Institute is a non-profit, educational institution sponsored by, and affiliated with, churches of Christ. Our school has a network of campuses located throughout the states of Georgia, Alabama & Tennessee, with plans for additional locations in the future. We also offer an archived curriculum of online and streamed courses designed for those students who cannot attend a local campus. Each location operates independently, and is overseen by a local eldership and campus director who plan and implement the daily operations for their respective campus.

Curriculum
The curriculum at the Citadel Bible Institute is structured on two separate paths of academic achievement and graduation: 1) Sixty-six (66) hours; 2) Forty-eight (48)hours.
Courses are designed on a one (1) or three (3) hour academic credit basis. One (1) hour courses require a minimum of fourteen (14) hours of instruction – or the equivalent.Three (3) hour courses require a minimum of thirty-four (34) hours of instruction – or the equivalent.
In CBI satellite campuses which do not offer a full semester schedule of in-class hours, the equivalency requirement is fulfilled through completion of independent study projects such as outside readings, research papers, or other exercises determined and developed by the course Instructor.
CBI curriculum is based on one of four paths of study and achievement:
1) Preaching Certificate: Designed for those who wish to prepare for service in full-time ministry.
2) Biblical Studies Certificate: General path of study designed for any student.
3) Church Leadership Certificate: Designed for those serving, or intending to serve, as elders, deacons, and in other facets of church / congregational leadership.
4) Missions Certificate: Path of study designed to prepare students to serve in either domestic or foreign missions settings.
Please consult the GSOP Student Handbook and Catalogue for curriculum design, and a complete listing of all courses required for each Certificate path.
Archived Courses
Our Adairsville campus is responsible for administering GSOP archived courses. If you have any questions about our current archived courses catalog please fill out the contact form below and the campus director will reach out to you as soon as possible.
The GSOP courses listed on this page have been filmed and archived for your convenience. Online instruction is only a part of what we do, and will never replace the blessings derived from a “live” classroom. However, with the pace of life for most people in our modern world, online study sometimes makes the most sense.
To register, simply complete the form below. Your instructor(s) will email you with details on how to get started. You may go ahead and preview any of the archived courses by clicking on a course title.
Administering our archived courses is brother Rick Lawson, who is the preacher for the Adairsville congregation.
